Stand With Ukraine Concert Series

Collegium Musicum, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of South Amboy - Sayreville and “Share Middlesex by Rise and Share”, created the project "STAND WITH UKRAINE" Concert Series dedicated to helping the Ukrainian people. Our project mission is to organize multiple events in New Jersey to raise funds, purchase medical equipment, supplies and other goods per requests received directly from Ukrainian volunteer organizations.

The project has already established a logistic chain, organized and verified shipping of humanitarian aid to destinations in Poland. Shipments will be received at an existing hub in Poland where the shipments will be sorted and transported using the currently available fleet of "Hospitallers" – the NGO (Non-Government Organizations) volunteer organization from the Ukraine. We are also confirming shipment to other major NGOs such as "Come Back Alive", "Not Indifferent People", and others. Those organizations will distribute humanitarian aid to the people, paramedics, hospitals, Ukrainian Armed Forces and territorial defense in immediate need. . Hospitallers’ key goals are to provide: Help to the wounded on the battlefield Evacuation of the wounded to the hospitals Help in the rehabilitation process Transfer of the deceased to the burial site in Ukraine The Hospitallers organization members are volunteers who provide medical first aid at the front line with risk to their own lives. To date, Hospitallers have completed more than 3000 evacuations. Hospitallers do not receive support from the government and provide assistance through their collaboration with volunteers and from donations.

Our star-studded musicians, under the artistic direction of Collegium Musicum NJ, are coming together to showcase their talents in an effort to raise money for the Ukraine. Over 75 professional musicians responded so far to participate in the series of concerts. Our talented musicians will perform the Ukrainian National Anthem, Ukrainian Folk Music, Classical and Jazz music. Selections will be performed by our orchestra, guest artists and youth performers. The result of our first event, held at the Bordentown PAC, NJ on March 18, 2022, helped raise over $6,400.00 in donations. With the funds raised, we were able to purchase medical supplies that were shipped to Poland to be routed to the Ukraine.
